How about dem apples: The Gettysburg area is getting into all kinds of cider in a big way.

PA Cider Fest, the only event of its kind in Pennsylvania, will come off from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 24, as cider makers, cheese makers, other artisans and vendors gather on the rolling hills of the Hauser Estate in Biglerville, Pa.

It’s aimed at ages 21 and older.

Among the cider houses will be Armstrong Valley Winery, Arsenal Cider House, Bad Apple Ciderwerks, Big Hill Ciderworks, Banters Hard Cider, Broad Mountain Vineyard, Frecon’s Cidery, Dressler Estate, Good Intent Cider, Hardball Cider, Jack’s Hard Cider, Knockin’ Noggin Cidery & Winery, Kurant Cider, Lancaster County Cider, Original 13 Ciderworks, Ploughman Farm Cider, Reid’s Winery & Cider House, Stone & Key Cellars, The Vineyard at Hershey and Wyndridge Farm.  Complete Story
