CLACKAMAS, OregonPortland Cider Company is beginning the new year with a bright, sunny new seasonal cider: Mango Mimosa. This fruit-forward cider pairs Northwest apples with ripe mangos and a bright splash of citrus for a trip to the tropics.

Portland Cider Kicks Off 2023 With Mango Mimosa Cider“Mango Mimosa captures the essence of summer in a can,” said Helen Lewis, marketing director at Portland Cider Co. “It’s fun and fruity, and perfectly suited for brunch with friends, or for anytime you need a quick hit of the tropics on a rainy day.”

The cider is medium-sweet, with a stone fruit nose and bubbly finish. It pairs well with cheery brunch foods, like banana pancakes, huevos rancheros, and champagne cupcakes. The bright, tropical fruitiness also makes it a perfect match for a spicy Thai curry or carne asada tacos.

Portland Cider is celebrating the launch of Mango Mimosa Cider on Sunday, January 29, with a Cajun Brunch pop-up at its Westside Pub, 4005 SW Orbit Road in Beaverton. Right Bayou Cajun will serve shrimp and grits, grillades, boudin balls, and other Cajun classics, and cider-mosa flights will be available. The brunch runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Mango Mimosa Cider will be available through June on tap and in 12-ounce and 19.2-ounce “Proper Pint” cans at Portland Cider Co’s three taprooms, as well as on the shelves of select retailers in Oregon and Washington.
