On the stage will be Matt Sircely, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who grew up writing songs in Pennsylvania, and moved to Port Townsend in 1999. His songs cover a wide range of imagery and roots music territory, with a sense of literary precision paired with instrumental work on guitar, mandolin or tenor guitar. Over the years, Sircely has performed in dozens of roots music styles, and often winds up singing songs in farflung places. A founding member of Hot Club Sandwich, his first recording of original songs was produced, recorded, mixed and released by Danny Barnes: Humdinger Process on Minner Bucket Records, 2015.
Book your lodging and ferry reservations early. This time of year is a very popular time to visit Orcas.
