From 11 AM-4 PM, the Eastsound Village Green on Orcas Island will be packed with people enjoying a multitude of ciders and meads to benefit Orcas Island Children’s House.

The big white tent will be filled with a number of hard cider and mead producers, their fabulous products and lots of raving fans. Come taste and learn about some of the best ciders and meads from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. There will be live music on the stage, great food and our wonderful Farmers Market right next door. And definitely make sure you purchase some bottles to take with you for later enjoyment!

Orcas Island home brewers, don’t forget to enter your cider in the The Orcas Island Home Brew competition. You know you want to be king or queen of the event!

On the stage will be Matt Sircely, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who grew up writing songs in Pennsylvania, and moved to Port Townsend in 1999. His songs cover a wide range of imagery and roots music territory, with a sense of literary precision paired with instrumental work on guitar, mandolin or tenor guitar. Over the years, Sircely has performed in dozens of roots music styles, and often winds up singing songs in farflung places. A founding member of Hot Club Sandwich, his first recording of original songs was produced, recorded, mixed and released by Danny Barnes: Humdinger Process on Minner Bucket Records, 2015.

Book your lodging and ferry reservations early. This time of year is a very popular time to visit Orcas.
