Diskin Cider Set to Hold 4th Babe Fest Alongside the Release of Babe Magnet Cider
NASHVILLE, TN (August 8, 2022) – Diskin Cider (Nashville’s first craft cidery) is set to hold their annual ‘Babe Fest’ this upcoming weekend, Friday through Sunday, August 12-14, alongside the re-release of Babe Magnet– a fan-favorite seasonal Strawberry Lime Rosé Cider. Their fourth annual Babe Fest will feature a weekend of live music, vendor partners, and food specials. This year, a portion of proceeds from Babe Magnet and accompanying merchandise over the weekend will be donated to support access to reproductive healthcare in Tennessee.
Their tasting room in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood is open to the public all weekend and has a packed schedule of themed festivities, starting with the release of the event’s namesake, Babe Magnet on Friday, August 12 beginning at 4pm. The lineup features live music from Kitty Coen and Aspasia on Friday night from 7-9pm, a female-owned and empowering vendor market on Saturday from 12-4pm, and a live DJ set from DJ Ken on Sunday from 12-4pm featuring favorite pop diva throwbacks. Local vendors include NB Goods, Supermoon Beauty Co., Rock-n-Boho, Braid Babes, Knockin’ Roots, the Florecita Bar, and food partner and collaborator Tico Gringo. The tasting room will also have a Babe Magnet dessert and slushie specials and a limited edition sticker and magnet pack available for purchase while supplies last. Babe Fest is free and family friendly, and dogs are always welcome in Diskin’s outdoor spaces and patios.
In keeping with Diskin’s past community support efforts, Diskin will donate 10% of all product proceeds from the weekend from Babe Magnet draft and to-go sales, as well as 100% of the proceeds from their limited edition Babe Magnet sticker and magnet pack. This donation will be made directly to Abortion Care Tennessee (ACT), a fund that empowers Tennesseans by working to remove barriers and increase access to reproductive and sexual health care including safe abortion care for all people.
Babe Magnet will be available beyond the weekend’s festivities while supplies last on draft and in to-go 4-packs of 16oz cans in the tasting room, through Diskin’s online store, and will be available for distribution in 1/6bbl and 1/2bbl kegs through Best Brands.
