Corvallis, Oregon – A few breweries in the state of Washington have begun making hard seltzer, now a popular Oregon cider maker is getting ready to jump in the game of alcoholic seltzer water. 2 Towns Ciderhouse will launch its new line of SeekOut Real Hard Seltzer in March 2019.
SeekOut Real Hard Seltzer will produce its natural hard seltzer crafted entirely from real fruit and water, without the use of any refined sugar or artificial flavorings at any point in the process. When it launches in a few months will feature four flavors; Key Lime + Mint, Raspberry + Meyer Lemon, Cucumber + Juniper, and Pineapple + Passion Fruit.
All four varieties will clock in at 5% ABV and only 100 calories per 12 ounce can. With this low calorie count SeekOut will try to gain traction in the health conscious drinking world. These hard seltzers will be available in 6-pack 12oz cans, as well as on draft in 1/2bbl kegs. To make it easier to try all flavors, avariety 12-pack will also be available at launch, containing all four seltzer varieties.
“We are excited about the growing popularity of hard seltzers in the market, and we think there is a lot of opportunity to showcase our dedication to craft beverages, and what real hard seltzer can taste like.” said Lee Larsen, CEO at 2 Towns Ciderhouse in a statement. “We set out to create a more authentic hard seltzer, by using 100% real fruit + water, and never any refined sugar or artificial flavorings. Even the alcohol for these seltzers is from apples, so there’s some real substance behind it, not just fermented cane sugar water.”
