Dunkertons Organic Cider: Certified Organic Cidery Launches ‘Craft’ Cider Can
Niles, IL – Winesellers Ltd., the family-owned, global importer and marketer of fine wines, is proud to announce the introduction of Dunkertons Organic ‘Craft’ Cider Can in 330ml / 4pk (SRP $14.99).
The cidery is celebrating its 40th birthday in 2020, after vanguard founders Ivor and Susie Dunkerton were inspired to craft organic ciders in Herefordshire like a vineyard and work in harmony with the environment instead of using any concentrates or chemicals. The organic ‘Craft’ cider incorporates the famous Dunkertons deep apple flavor, combining the perfect balance of sweetness, acidity and tannins with a well-rounded finish.
Co-owner Jeremy Benson commented, “2020 is shaping up to be another significant year in the history of Dunkertons Organic Cider Company. We know cider drinkers are becoming more discerning and seeking authentic quality ciders with a high juice content and Dunkertons consistently delivers that. Our organic ciders and perry have a very strong following but we knew the brand presentation required a complete refresh and that we needed a lower ABV cider in the range to appeal to a wider range of today’s cider drinkers. The new packaging looks fantastic and we have already had a lot of interest in our new ‘Craft’ 5% ABV cider.“
“Launching this packaging format allows us to continue approaching new consumers with Dunkertons Organic,”, explained Jordan Sager Co-President of Winesellers, Ltd. “We’ve seen a tremendous increase in demand for quality, organic cans that are attainable for the everyday drinker,” said Sager.
The Dunkertons brand offerings in the US market includes the ‘Craft’ Cider can ($14.99/4pk), Black Fox Cider, Dry Cider (both $8 SRP), Breakwells Seedling Organic Cider and Organic Perry (both $9 SRP). All five are certified organic by Soil Association (UK).
About Dunkertons Organic Cider
The Dunkerton Cider Mill is set in the ancient parish of Pembridge in the English countryside (West Country), where owners Ivor and Susie Dunkerton have been producing cider since 1980. For almost 40 years, the company has been focused on growing cider apples and perry pears in harmony with the environment to help sustain the natural eco-system. Dunkertons’ unique blending method uses traditional varieties of organic apples and pears, grown in estate orchards as well as local organic growers with longstanding ties to the cider mill.
